Coming soon: How Microsoft is helping to transform business processes

A partner opportunity to help customers build apps and forms, and move customers from legacy technology to innovative, Office 365 applications

This week at Microsoft Inspire 2018, Microsoft is announcing the SharePoint Business Application Partner Program – a program built to address the needs of our customers for integrating modern technologies and applications into their everyday business processes.

Most, if not all businesses today have numerous repetitive tasks that could be streamlined.  From HR approval forms, meeting room requests, documents requiring customer signature, or even tasks as mundane as guest check-in forms, there are endless repetitive tasks bogging down business processes everywhere that could easily be automated. Even more intriguing, the data from these processes can generate new insights and intelligence.

Microsoft has built many tools for developers and power users to help pave the way to transforming business processes – tools like SharePoint lists, PowerApps, Power BI, Forms , and Microsoft Flow. But helping customers transform their business processes doesn’t stop with the creation and deployment of these great technologies. Microsoft and our customers need system integrators and ISV’s to help innovate new ways to achieve digital transformation.

To help better enable our customers with effective and efficient business processes, we are partnering with service providers and independent software vendors (ISVs) who specialize in the following areas:

  • Assessment and planning
  • Automation
  • Architecture and approach
  • Migration
  • Security, compliance, and management
  • Data services
  • Packaged solutions for common functions
  • Custom app development
  • Education and training

Partners who participate in the program will receive numerous benefits, including:

  • Access to compete and go-to-market collateral
  • Future access to funding and incentives such as DPS with structured workshops, resources, and training
  • Alignment and referral to the Microsoft field
  • Inclusion in the partner portfolio
  • Quarterly NDA briefings from the Microsoft product team
