Update 7/12, 6:40 PM CT: YouTube is giving one-week of free service to all customers as compensation.

The first half of England vs. Croatia literally just ended and 30 seconds later, my YouTube TV stream went down. If the same happened to you, fortunately, you’re not the only one.

Update 7/11, 2:58 PM CT: YouTube TV is back up, and naturally, everyone is raging, demanding refunds.

Update 7/12, 6:40 PM CT: YouTube is sending out emails to all customers with the subject line “We let you down,” and is giving everyone one-week of free service. Although the time of the outage couldn’t have been any worse, this is certainly a nice gesture from the YouTube TV team, something you probably would never get with traditional cable or even DirecTV Now. Sorry, DirecTV.
