Dave DJ
Citywide fines being issued for cars parked on pavements. This might be a problem if you park on herries road etc on matchdays. https://www.thestar.co.uk/our-towns-and-cities/sheffield/citywide-crackdown-on-bad-parking-1-9212598

Wait till the lorries cant get down Rawson Springs road because of all the cars They'll just wack yellow lines all the way down there . They've already cut the speed limit by twenty five percent and our council hate cars so I'm surprised they haven't yellow lines the entirety of herries already . Owl At Risk
I have a revolutionary idea to solve the problem. Hold tight. Brace yourself. It's shocking I know. Are you ready? Take a deep breath. My idea is.... Just don't park like a flippingcunt. Edited June 19, 2018 by Owl At Risk
Steelman
Pavements are for pedestrians, simple as. If someone parks on a pavement and they get every panel damaged by a mobility scooter trying to get past, or some mum with a pram, they deserve all they get.

And of course, everyone can travel to the match in style and luxury by catching the famous Rotherham Owls coach which leaves from Dalton - Silverwood Workingmen's Club (Baggin). We don't park on pavements guaranteed.
Buxtongent
Anyone remember the time when parking wasn't a problem because no-one, or at least very few, had a car, and the only way to get there was by public transport. I remember when I first started travelling on my own in 1950.I lived in Hoyland, near Barnsey, and walked down to the Railway Station at Elsecar. Here I bought a half ticket, plus a full one, and caught the Barnsley/ Sheffield train.I then looked out the window at Ecclesfield station, where Dad would be waiting He'd come from Hall & Pickles, where he worked. We then continued to Sheffield Midland station, walked to the bottom of Snig Hill and then caught the tram to Hillsborough. The return journey often entailed a walk back into town. "Tha' can get on my shoulders, and a'll carry thee 3 gas lamps " ( often stretched to 4 or 5) said Dad, caught the train back to Elsecar and walked back up the hill to Hoyland. We never had any problem parking, then.
meggoisgod
Love the sentiment but my old man can't walk more than 50 yards without pain. He's also followed Wednesday for the best part of 65 years. Don't tell me he can't or I can't park near the ground. Get real guys
