Apparently we're in for him, but so are a few others including Forrest. Not sure how ture if at all but promising.

Matt Clarke was our ex keeper!

He was a decent signing first time round but I think we've moved on since then.

I can't say i know a lot about him but if this means we have cover at left back and enables Reach to play left wing or in the middle then sounds good. But if Forest are in for him i think they will pay him more so my guess is he ends up there.

Hopefully he'll have a better debut and not get sent off 10 minutes after coming on this time

If we do get him will be very interesting to see how much he cost us as a lot of similarities to Hirst other than the fact he has first team football on his cv. could give us an idea of what we might get for Hirst.

So apart from his age, the position he plays in and his 50 first-team starts, yeah... almost identical.

So he was signed by Hull in 2006, been at the club for 10 years (like GH), played for England at youth level (like GH), did well in Hull development squad (like GH for our Dev squad) and at a young age has decided to not stay and look for pastures new (just like GH) - so basically no similarities what so ever  

WOW, we take the mick out the club for not getting shirts out on time, we can't even start a thread on Owlstalk correctly.

I think we'll have to agree to disagree.

Your argument is based on the fact that they share similar youth backgrounds- part of one club's youth system for a long time and making appearances for youth-team international footie.

My argument is based on the fact that one has 60+ first-team appearances to his name, including more than two dozen in the Champ, and the other has managed two substitute appearances (from memory). I just can't see them as suitable for a comparison on that basis, but to each their own

Seems to fit the bill as proclaimed by Jos.

Young enough to reduce the average squad age and have a future transfer value.

Available from July and for a tribunal fee, that will probably be balanced by similar for George Hirst.

BUT, best of all is a left back who can play left wing. The right ingredients for a wing back.

This is the glaring gap in our squad that desperately needs filling.

Is Max Clark any good? I'm not familiar with him. 

Don’t know much about him to be honest but is the right age and sounds like he can play left wing back if we’re going to stick with 3 at the back next season.   

One player from Hull who’s out of contact I’d love us to look at is on the other side at right wing back, Moses Odubajo. I’m aware he’s been out for a season so obvious concerns but even if he’s half the player he was before he got injured he would be easily our best option and can definitely play Right Wing Back. 

Also aged 24 there’s no tribunal but still a great age.

Seems a bit of a risk not played since 2016 due to knee injuries / operations.

Nigel Adkins wouldn't include him in the squad for their last game saying he's still not fit.
