It's important to note that this was WAY to early in the relationship to be getting phone calls from her mother, I wasn't even aware that she'd mentioned to her family that she was seeing anyone.
Until you read down to your comment, there's no indication that it's your girlfriend. Maybe in that first Facebook column, a "how was your day sweetie" or somesuch?
