LAKE STEVENS — Ten local prep baseball players were nominated to play in the All-State Baseball Series on June 9 and 10 in Yakima.
The players were chosen following the Wesco senior all-state feeder games Wednesday at Lake Stevens High School. The South team beat the North team in both games, winning 3-2 and 3-1.
The players nominated were: Brett Gillis (Cascade), Nicholas Klemp (Cascade), Riley Parker (Glacier Peak), Conor Bardue (Lake Stevens), Eric Anderson (Marysville Pilchuck), Jordan Luton (Marysville Pilchuck), Tommy Dimmock (Meadowdale), Kendall Yackley (Mountlake Terrace), Ian FitzGerald (Mount Vernon) and Nick Deline (Stanwood).
Of the 160 players nominated from feeder games across the state, 72 will be selected to play in the All-State Baseball Series.
