A 10-year-old boy on a national tour to show appreciation for law enforcement is marking National Doughnut Day by visiting local bakeries along the Butler County Donut Trail and delivering the sweet treats to the sheriff's office.

Tyler Carach of Florida ventured out at 5 a.m. Friday and picked up nearly 300 donuts from local bakeries including: Stan The Donut Man, Kelly's Bakery, Ross' Bakery, Donut Spot, Central Pastry Shop, Donut House, Martin's Donuts, Milton's Donuts, Jupiter Coffee and Donuts, MiMi's Bakery, Oxford Donut Shop and Holtman's Donuts.

At around 1:30 p.m., he brought them to Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones and his deputies at the Butler County Sheriff's Office.

"Incredible young man right here!" Jones tweeted.

In addition to Jones and his staff, Tyler also got to meet McGruff the Crime Dog and one of the Butler County K-9s.

This isn't Tyler's first stop. The youngster has traveled to 28 states and has delivered more than 60,000 donuts and gallons of coffee since his mission began in August 2016.

It began after he came across four deputies in a local store and purchased them mini donuts with his own allowance money to say thank you for their service.
