When one thinks of the US, probably the first thing to come to mind are “monsters.” Bigfoots, Chupacabras and the whole rest of the cryptozoological gang. This map shows the range of US monsters based on reported sightings. Surprisingly, the US really isn’t all that monster rich. Please note, for Bigfoot, I only considered sightings in towns with 10 or more sightings (according to: http://www.bfro.net/GDB/default.asp) . Such a high profile monster is bound to get a hoax or two.
