Turkey's Halkbank working closely with U.S. Treasury, CEO says

ISTANBUL – Turkey's Halkbank is working closely with the United States Treasury, its chief executive Osman Arslan said on Wednesday, after one of bank's executives was sentenced last week for aiding a scheme to violate US sanctions on Iran.

In an interview with the broadcaster Bloomberg HT, Arslan said that the bank expects to emerge from the process with the US Treasury without damage.
