For more than 40 years, shareholder and Chair of the firm’s Litigation and Personal Injury department, Leonard A. Sloane, is renowned for his relentless and innovative litigation skills. He has won numerous awards and acknowledgements from a variety of prestigious legal organizations and publications, including Super Lawyers. This year, he celebrates 15 consecutive years of receiving this honor. His practice focuses on auto accidents, medical malpractice, product liability, and personal injury.
Guy F. Matthews, a partner with the law firm for nearly 30 years, represents clients with business, estate, and financial planning matters, including individuals and corporate clients. He shares his knowledge through lectures on topics within his practice areas for both public and private businesses. He has been recognized each consecutive year since 2009 by Super Lawyers.
As head of the Family Law department of the firm, David E. Auerbach’s wide-range of experiences in trial litigation, as well as his wealth of knowledge regarding sophisticated and challenging legal matters, lends gravitas to any case he handles. He earned his 15th consecutive Super Lawyers award this year for his excellence in the field of law.
Craig B. Huffman dedicates his practice to causes in support of children’s rights. He lectures on matters involving child custody and support, protections from abuse, and deals with Orphans’ Court litigation. Since 2013, he has been an annual recipient of the Super Lawyers award.
Joseph E. Lastowka, Jr., has prepared estate planning documents, including wills and trusts, and has provided legal counsel for thousands of clients throughout the years. He lectures on estate-planning issues for several organizations and community groups. During his tenure at the law firm, he has contributed his time to various charitable groups such as the American Red Cross, Associates Services for the Blind, and more. Super Lawyers has recognized him for his excellence in the legal industry each consecutive year since 2008.
Jonathan E. Becker concentrates on estate-planning, estate and trust administration, complex trust and tax issues, and creating wills and trusts for his clients. He has been practicing law for over 20 years, and works with a variety of diverse attorneys who rely on his ability to formulate trust language, transactional structures, and practical solutions to tax issues. He has been honored by Super Lawyers annually since 2011.
Michael J. Davey’s practice focuses on employment law and discrimination issues, as well as personal injury cases. While working at the firm, he serves as the Chair of the Auto Law Section for the Pennsylvania Association of Justice, and was a past-President of their Young Lawyers’ Section. He lectures and presents seminars on topics associated with employment law, automobile insurance law, and civil litigation for numerous professional organizations. Each year since 2012 the Super Lawyers organization has awarded him with this distinction.
