Even when Indiana's season is over, Victor Oladipo is still a pacer.
The 26-year-old guard will lead the field of 33 drivers at the 102nd Indianapolis 500 on May 27 from the 2019 Corvette ZR1 pace car.
Oladipo was dealt to the Pacers by the Oklahoma City Thunder last offseason as part of the Paul George trade and broke out this season, averaging 23.1 points, 4.3 assists and 5.2 rebounds. He led the Pacers to the playoffs, where they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in a seven-game first-round series.
Oladipo played three seasons at Indiana University before being drafted.

I can't wait."
The Corvette ZR1 can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.85 seconds and reach a top track speed of 212 mph, the fastest Corvette in history.
"Few NBA players drive to the basket with more speed and power than Victor, so he'll feel right at home behind the wheel of the awesome 2019 Corvette ZR1 on Race Day," Indianapolis Motor Speedway prresident J. Douglas Boles said in a statement.
