On the 6th, members of the Grand Ducal family attended traditional events for the closing of this year's Octave. In the morning, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa were present for the Pontifical Mass that took place at the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Luxembourg. Then in the afternoon, they were joined by Grand Duke Jean, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie, Princess Alexandra, Prince Louis, and Princes Gabriel and Noah for the annual closing procession.

Afterwards, the family made an appearance on the balcony following a performance by the Harmonie Municipale Luxembourg-Gasperich.
