Two people were injured after an officer-involved shooting involving a man dressed as a ninja at an Iowa courthouse Wednesday.A witness said around 10:30 a.m., a man dressed as a ninja tried to get inside the Scott County courthouse armed with some sort of blunt object, according to police."We walked in the doors, and we'd seen this guy coming from across the street," witness Ann St. Clair said. "I swear he was dressed as a ninja, in all white, with a stick coming out of his back that looked like a sword to me. All of a sudden, he just came running up to the doors behind us and going, 'Come on G, come on out here. I'm gonna get you.'"Police said two bailiffs quickly responded, and from there the situation escalated, leading them to fire a gun and "less-lethal" device. The bailiff who fired the weapon is now on administrative leave, per department policy. The investigation is being turned over to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, with the help of Davenport police.
