Former Sycamore High School and UC Bearcats baseball standout Kevin Youkilis has been sharing his opinions about youth travel teams, specializing in one sport and more on Twitter since Friday, insisting that change take place and engaging in back-and-forth with others.

Youk's original Tweet about the hot-button subjects, and just a few of his many follow-ups over the weekend and on Monday:

Youkilis was elected in December to the Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame.

Youkilis will be inducted in May along with Derek Lowe, Mike Lowell, the late John Frank "Buck" Freeman and Alphonso "Al" Green.

Youkilis announced his retirement from baseball in 2014 following a Major League career that lasted 10 seasons.

He has since worked as a special assistant for the Chicago Cubs and as the owner of Loma Brewing Company in Los Gatos, California.

Youkilis had his No. 36 retired by the Bearcats in 2015.
