Star Family Circus to perform

COSHOCTON - Star Family Circus will have shows at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds, 707 Kenilworth Ave.

The show will feature aerialists, jugglers, acrobats, daredevils and more. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for ages 13 to 17 and free for those 12 and under. For advance tickets, call 941-735-1345.

Real estate agent honored

COSHOCTON - Carly Thompson, HER Realtor agent in Coshocton, has received the Three Years 10 Best Real Estate Agents Award for Client Satisfaction from the American Institute of Real Estate Agents.

The award is based on client and peer nominations and examines the relationships and reputation agents have among clients.

Newcomerstown Chamber presents awards

NEWCOMERSTOWN - The Newcomerstown Chamber of Commerce recently had its annual awards ceremony.

Gary and Janet Chaney received the Lifetime Achievement Award for having served as chamber officers, being instrumental to the Cy Young Festival Committee and work with other organizations.

The Chief Netawatwees Award went to the Newcomerstown McDonald’s for its recent renovation. Trooper Chad Durben of the Ohio State Highway Patrol received the Hometown Hero Award. Organization of the Year went to Meals-On-Wheels/Harcutus. Fit4U Nutrition and the Newcomerstown Library received community improvement awards. The Kelly Ault Veteran Award went to Tom Apple. Treasurer Kelly Ault was named Chamber Member of the Year.

HER Realtors grand opening 1-3 p.m., HER Realtors, 153 W. Main St., Suite C, Newcomerstown. A ribbon cutting will be at 1 p.m. with remarks from Mayor Pat Cadle.

Quarter Auction 1 p.m., Hopewell School, 23720 Airport Road, Coshocton. There will also be a 50/50 drawing and other raffles. Food will be available by the Special Olympics.

What Women Want 5:30 p.m., Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum, 300 North Whitewoman St., Coshocton. $45. Includes a five-course dinner, wine, live music and silent auction. Dinner will be prepared by Chef Michael Cichon and be served by black-tie waiters starting at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit the museum’s educational programs through the Friends of the Museum.

Monday

Master Gardener Volunteer Training Program 6-9 p.m., Coshocton County Services Building, 724 South 7th St., Coshocton. Volunteers will be trained in annuals, perennials, fruits, vegetables, soil, botany, turf, insects, diseases and other topics.

Tuesday

Art in the Afternoon 1 p.m., Coshocton Senior Center, 201 Browns Lane, Coshocton. Making a standing sparrow craft.

Our Town Coshocton Informational Meeting 6 p.m., Coshocton Village Inn and Suites, 115 North Water St., Coshocton. Members will share projects being worked on, including getting Downtown Coshocton listed as a Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places.

Family Night at the Library 6:45-7:15 p.m., Coshocton Public Library, 655 Main St., Coshocton. Children ages 3 to 6 will hear stories, sing songs and do arts and crafts. Ages 6 to 12 will engage with science, technology, engineering, arts and math activities.

Coshocton Community Band Rehearsals 7-8:30 p.m., Coshocton High School, 1205 Cambridge Road, Coshocton.

Wednesday

Administrative Professionals Day Luncheon noon-1 p.m., Coshocton Presbyterian Church, 142 North 4th St., Coshocton. $15 for lunch.

Plugged and Unplugged 2:30-5 p.m., Coshocton Public Library, 655 Main St., Coshocton. For those in seventh to 12th grades with snacks, games, laptops and internet access.

AWANA Club Awards 6:30 p.m., Chili Crossroads Bible Church, 29445 County Road 10, Fresno. A 100-foot banana split will be made after the ceremony.
