Don't miss your chance to meet WBAL-TV 11's Puppy With a Purpose, Camden, this weekend!Camden will join other dogs Sunday for the eighth annual Race4Vets Annapolis/Kent Island Run and Dog Walk.The event begins at Kent Island High School in Stevensville and takes a tour of the Cross Island Trail. WBAL-TV TV 11's Jason Newton will be with Camden for the adventure.Proceeds from the event will benefit America's VetDogs, which provides service dogs to military veterans and disabled first responders. "Events like this are really the backbone of the organization, and these fundraising events allow us to pay $50,000-plus for dogs to train to do our services," said John Miller, president and CEO of America's VetDogs. Then, Newton and Camden will go on to Bowie, where they will participate in "Bark in the Park" with the Bowie Baysox.
