Seattle Sounders midfielder Gustav Svensson earned his 11th cap for Sweden on Saturday when he started and went the full 90 minutes in a 2-1 friendly loss against Chile in Solna, Sweden.

Arturo Vidal opened the scoring for the visitors in the 22nd minute before Ola Toivonen equalized a minute later. Marcos Bolados found the game-winner for Chile in the 90th minute.

Svensson had a resurgence with the BlÃ¥gult last year, appearing in four World Cup Qualifying matches, including a substitute appearance against Italy that sent Sweden to the World Cup.

Sweden will visit Romania in their final World Cup tune-up friendly on Tuesday, March 27.
