In addition to their regularly scheduled game against Iowa at Kaiser Permanente Arena on Friday night, the Santa Cruz Warriors will replay the final 17.5 seconds of their Jan. 19 tilt with the Wolves.

Santa Cruz protested the result of the game (a Warriors loss) after it had asked for a reset timeout with 17.5 seconds left but was credited with a full timeout, of which it had none, and incorrectly issued a technical foul. The protest is the first granted by the NBA in at least five years.

The game snippet will be played starting at 7:02 p.m. with the score tied at 111 and the Warriors inbounding the ball under their basket. They will have 11 seconds left on the shot clock.

Anyone on the teams’ current active rosters are eligible to play in the game. Any player on assignment who was not active for initial game is ineligible. Player who participated previously will start with their foul totals from the January game.

Warmups for the game originally scheduled for Friday will begin five minutes after the completion of the protest game.
