Trader Joe's recalls chocolate chip cookies that may contain allergens
Trader Joe's is recalling its chocolate chip cookies due to undeclared allergens. The products may have been packed with the California-based company's peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and may contain peanuts. The recall affects cookies with bar code number 0068 0752 sold in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, northern Virginia and Washington, D.C.The cookies have lot code 2060 and date codes 031218 through 031818.People with peanut allergies run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they eat the product.No allergic reactions or illnesses have been reported."If you purchased any of the chocolate chip cookies with the specified lot and date codes and have a peanut allergy, please do not eat it.
