NEWARK - Longtime Licking County Juvenile and Probate Court Administrator David Edelblute will be leaving his position later this month to pursue a new job opportunity.

Edelblute, who has been with juvenile court for more than 21 years, will be taking a job with the Ohio Supreme Court as the manager of the children and families section.

The new position will allow for Edelblute to take the support he has provided to the local courts and apply it on a statewide level.

His last day working in Licking County will be March 9.
