The Texas Rangers have begun spring training for good. On Monday, infielders and outfielders arrived and the Rangers held their first full workout on Tuesday. The Rangers are prepping for their mission to avenge their mediocre 2017 season.

This season, the Texas Rangers are without a doubt going to have their work cut out for them. Many say that they’re major underdogs this season and they are. Truth be told, the Rangers being underdogs is an understatement.

According to Bleacher Report, the Rangers are predicted to finish in third place with a 78-84 record. It’s honestly no surprise that the Rangers aren’t predicted to have success. The Rangers are a long way from being a team worthy of reaching the World Series.

The Rangers are in the process of regrouping as they desire to return to being a winning team again. However, it’s going to take time. If the Rangers have a better season and manage to book themselves a spot in the wildcard playoffs, then that’ll mean progress in the rebuilding process.

The Rangers can find their motivation. They can find it through strong and positive performances this spring training. As long as positive results continue, the more motivation they’ll have, which means the more focused they’ll be. To tell the truth, critics predicting another season of mediocrity should motivate the Rangers.
