Deputies to carry rifles on school grounds in Fla. county where shooting occurred

Police in the county where 17 people were killed in a school shooting last week will now carry rifles on school grounds, the sheriff's office announced Wednesday.

Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel emphasized that "only deputies who are trained and qualified will carry those rifles. But we need to defeat any threat that comes onto campus.”

Some deputies will carry AR-15 rifles, the same weapon used by the 19-year-old accused of carrying out the attack. But Israel said the rifles would be single-shot and not automatic.

LOL Fake News.  The Deputies will not be walking the grounds with AR's.   WTF is with the press.

is not consistent, with....

....single-shot and not automatic.
