Boys Basketball

Woodmore 69, Lakota 33

Drew Burner scored 20 points and Mitchell Miller 19 in Woodmore's nonconference victory.

Woodmore (10-2) earned its fourth straight win. The Wildcats outscored the Raiders 21-8 in the second quarter for a 31-14 advantage and led 54-27 after three quarters.

Hayden Heidebrink had 10 points for the Wildcats.

Josh Kagy and Tyler Wehrle scored eight points apiece for Lakota.  

Toledo St. Francis 63, Fremont Ross 46

Bryce Root scored 16 points in the first three quarters in Ross' Three Rivers Athletic Conference setback.

Tre Campbell added 10 points for the Little Giants.

Ross trailed 35-21 at the half.

St. Mary Central Catholic 80, Old Fort 65

Jacob Webb had 20 points and eight rebounds in Old Fort's SBC River Division setback.

AJ Steyer had 14 points, Mason Salas 12 and Carson Steyer 10 for the Stockaders (8-6, 4-2).

Girls Basketball

Port Clinton 54, Huron 15

Delayna Laurel had 18 points in Port Clinton's SBC Bay Division victory.

Olivia Jackson added 10 points for the Redskins.

St. Joseph Central Catholic 62, Old Fort 52

Adrienne Wehring and Brooke Casperson scored 16 points apiece in SJCC's SBC River Division victory.

Miranda Wammes added 13 points for the Crimson Streaks.

SJCC led 35-21 at the half and 48-28 after three quarters.

Whitney Bilger had 13 points and Madisyn Spencer 10 for Old Fort.

Woodmore 42, Lake 31

Freshman Brooke Allen scored 12 points as Woodmore avenged a Northern Buckeye Conference setback earlier in the season.

Nora LaMunyon had 11 points for the Wildcats (8-7).

Woodmore led 22-12 at halftime.

Bellevue 57, Perrysburg 51

Casey Santoro scored 24 points in Bellevue's nonconference victory.

Cory Santoro had 17 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter and Payton Vogel added nine points for the Lady Red.

The game was tied 20-20 at the half and 37-37 after three quarters.

Margaretta 59, Willard 44

Taylor Malson had 23 points in Margaretta's SBC Bay Division victory.

Kennedi Hilton had 14 points and Jayden Moore 12 for the Polar Bears (15-2, 8-1).

Margaretta outscored Willard 19-9 in the third quarter for a 44-32 lead after three. Each team has one setback in division play.

Shelby 57, Clyde 51

Jackie Smith scored 12 points in Clyde's SBC Lake Division setback.

Alexis Keegan had 11 points for the Fliers (8-9, 4-5). Heidi Marshall had eight points.

Clyde led 36-32 at the half and 45-42 after three quarters.  

Eastwood 66, Genoa 39

Caitlin Cruickshank had 18 points in Genoa's NBC setback.

Tatum Neumann added 14 points for the Comets.

Swimming

Ross 128, Port Clinton 52 (boys)

Ross 125, Port Clinton 61 (girls)

MaKennah Fitzgerald won the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke, AnneMarie Moses the 200 IM and Olivia DeRodes the 50 and 100 freestyles for Ross's girls. Alexis Prenzlin won the 100 butterfly and Lauren Zimmerman the 100 breaststroke. 

Faith Zimmerman, Prenzlin, Moses and Mara Brown won the 200 medley relay and Moses, Prenzlin, Fitzgerald and DeRodes won the 200 freestyle relay. DeRodes, Prenzlin, Moses and Fitzgerald won the 400 freestyle relay.

Dylan Weisenauer won the 200 freestyle, Case Stevenson the 200 IM and Tate Williams the 100 butterfly for the Little Giants' boys. Ethan Taylor won the 500 freestyle, Andrew Evans the 100 backstroke and Austin Kramer the 100 breaststroke.

Weisenauer, Evans, Williams and William Taylor won the 200 medley and freestyle relays and William Taylor, Ethan Taylor, Stevenson and Evans won the 400 freestyle relay.

Jack Kessler won the 50 and 100 freestyles and Kyle Schultz the diving competition for Port Clinton's boys. 

Alaina Schultz won the diving competition and Bryanna Barr the 500 freestyle for the Redskins' girls.

Ross' boys topped Margaretta 136-40 and Port Clinton's boys beat the Polar Bears 90-87. Ross's girls beat Margaretta 139-47 and the Redskins' girls defeated the Polar Bears 114-72.

Bowling

Port Clinton 2,579, Lakota 2,478

DeVonte Bates rolled 200 and 249 for Port Clinton (3-11, 2-6). Chris Sanford had games of 211 and 178, Rok Scott 196 and 180 and Dylan Smothers added a 180.

Chyeanne Strader rolled 165 and 178 as the Redskins' girls remained unbeaten in 14 matches, including seven in the SBC Bay Division. Jordan Gresh rolled 170 twice, Gabie Klein added a 181 and Sierra Siebold a 161.
