The Nerazzurri continue to work to strengthen their squad and provide coach Spalletti with some much needed depth and variety. Among the names that is strongly linked to Inter, is that of Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge. According to Sky Sport’s columnist and former Spurs player Jamie Redknapp, the Inter linked striker would be a great buy: “Whoever manages to buy him, they brings home one of the best strikers in Europe for sure. He’s a brilliant player, he’s talented and has a lot of skill. It would be a great signing for Sevilla or Inter if they manage to keep him in shape, then they will say ‘I knew he was good but I didn’t know he was this good’, of course there is a big if related to his physical health as injuries have been a big problem for him over the last few years. I think going abroad could be the best solution for him”.
