Southeastern 63, Westfall 29

The Panthers (12-2, 9-0 SVC) extended their conference winning streak to 36 games Thursday evening with a rout of Westfall.

Senior Ella Skeens led Southeastern with 32 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three blocks while Rachel Collins added 12 points and eight boards. Skylar Hice also helped out with five points and 10 rebounds.

For Westfall (4-11, 2-7 SVC), Emily Robinson scored six points while Marcy Dudgeon added five of her own.

The Redstreaks (9-6, 5-4 SVC) continued their winning ways Thursday with a 19-point win over Adena.

Leading Piketon in scoring was Gracie Lightle with 11 points, followed by Avery Reuter with 10 points and Cassidy Fremont with seven points.

Hannah Stark led Adena (1-14, 1-8 SVC) with 13 points while both Reece Kerns and Chloe Redden has four points each.

In a non-conference battle Thursday evening, Huntington (10-3) traveled to Peebles and fell by two points in overtime.

"We had some opportunities and made some costly mistakes at the end," Huntington coach Tiffany Carroll said. "I'm going to take this one. The kids played hard. This one is on me."

The Huntsmen were led by Braiden Collins, who scored 30 points alongside eight steals, seven assists and five rebounds. Kelsey McDonald had 17 points and five rebounds, Riley Black scored 13 point and had five boards, and Emily Haubeil scored 10 points.

In Southern Ohio Conference action, the Tigers (7-9, 3-8 SOC II) fell to the Pirates on the road after leading 14-11 at halftime.

Leading the way for Waverly was Carli Knight with 14 points, eight rebounds and six steals while Zoiee Smith followed with six points, seven boards and five dimes.

WRESTLING

Cavs win four but fall to Jackson

in Frontier Athletic Conference wrestling action, Chillicothe fell to Jackson Thursday evening by a 48-19 final.

The Cavaliers were forced to forfeit eight matches but won all four head-to-head bouts.

Winning for Chillicothe was Caleb Lake at 120 pounds, Joseph Hilliard at 182, Collin Lindsey at 195 and Cole Maxson at 285.

Lake beat Jackson's Austin Vanallen by technical fall (19-2), Hilliard topped Jamarcus Keels by technical fall (19-3), Lindsey beat Aaron Causey (7-2) and Maxson pinned Brent Jarvis (1:32).
