The United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Kansas City Police Department are now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to a conviction in a May 2017 murder of a 3-year-old. Marcus Haislip III, 3, was riding in a vehicle near 54th Street and Park Avenue with his father and great uncle back in May 2017 when someone opened fire on their car.All three victims showed up at an area hospital a short time later, but 3-year-old Marcus died as a result of his injuries.Officers believed the individual who opened fire on their car was on foot, however, after the neighborhood was canvassed, no suspect was ever located. On Wednesday, the ATF and Kansas City Police announced they are offering up to a $10,000 reward for information leading to a conviction in the murder of the toddler.Anyone with information is asked to call (888) ATF-TIPS or text ATFKC to 63975 to help solve this case.
