Brownsburg woman found fatally shot in home

BROWNSBURG, Ind. – Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 74-year-old woman in a Brownsburg neighborhood.

Authorities were called to the scene in the 800 block of Stonehenge Way shortly after 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Fox59 reported.

Police say the woman’s daughter was the one who found her. The woman’s wheelchair-bound husband was reportedly found on the floor of the home.

Officers are waiting for a search warrant to be able to enter the home and continue their investigation.
