Police calls: Man issued summons for tattooing at home

100 block of West Prospect Street, Mansfield - A 39-year-old woman told police that someone stole her Metro checks for her heat and a bank card while she was incarcerated.

First block of Bartley Avenue, Mansfield - A 40-year-old man was issued a summons for tattooing services prohibitions on Thursday afternoon after police received complaints. He reportedly admitted he was not licensed to tattoo out of his residence.

700 block of Scholl Road, Mansfield - Two boys, ages 14 and 13, were issued summonses for theft Thursday evening. They reportedly took a cellphone from a 15-year-old boy's backpack. The phone belonged to his 78-year-old grandmother.

Bartley Avenue, Mansfield - Police received a call Thursday night about a woman attempting to kill herself by drinking perfume. The 37-year-old woman reportedly was combative with police and kicked a 34-year-old man in the stomach. She was issued a summons for assault and taken to OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.
