'NetNeutality' trends on Twitter, and it's driving users crazy

It's no surprise net neutrality is trending on Twitter. The Federal Communications Commission voted Thursday to roll back rules governing the Internet and whether providers can slow or block content, and the lead up to the vote sparked much conversation.

There is one small problem: the hashtag driving the most interaction was spelled wrong.

For most of Thursday morning, the hashtag #NetNeutality was the top trending item on Twitter. Even with the misspelling, because it was trending, the spelling error spread.

Naturally, many Twitter users took notice:

 

It appears Twitter has figured out the right spelling. As of publishing, #NetNeutrality is now the top trending item in the U.S.
