Bleich excited about the future of the Florida Gators under Mullen

Last weekend was the first weekend of official visits under Dan Mullen and also the first time for new Florida Gators offensive line commit Chris Bleich (6-6, 305, Plymouth, PA. Wyoming Valley West) to be on campus.

Bleich committed to Florida late last month after picking up an offer from Florida but the Gainesville campus didn’t disappoint him.

“The visit went great, I loved everything Florida has to offer me,” Bleich said on the official visit. “We toured the campus, met with all of the coaches and ate a lot of food.”

The offensive line commit had several things stand out to him on Saturday but Bleich had one experience and food that was his favorite part.

“My favorite was definitely walking into the stadium and envisioning myself playing,” he said. “The chicken tenders on Saturday they were banging too.”

Bleich also had the chance to meet everyone for the first time this weekend and see all of the facilities that Florida has to offer.

“I thought everyone was nice down there,” Bleich said of his first time on campus. “The facilities were nice but they’re redoing everything down there.”

Offensive line coach John Hevesy was the one to offer Bleich and this weekend the coach explained how the offensive line would fit into Florida’s offense.

“He seems me playing center and tackle for him,” he said on Hevesy message on where he play at in Florida’s offense. “I know they would like to have five offensive linemen for this class to set up the base for Coach Mullen’s time here.”

Head coach Dan Mullen also delivered a message to Bleich and his family during the visit this weekend.

“Everything is on a fresh page for everyone,” Bleich said on Mullen’s message to him. “My first work out is the teams first work out for the season under him too.”

Bleich also had the chance to meet the rest of the commits this weekend and he liked what he learned about the rest of the commits.

“I love them,” he said of the rest of the commits. “We really didn’t talk football we just chilled and went with the players when they took us out.”

The new Gators commit left Gainesville impressed by Mullen and the future of Florida football.

“I think the future is going to be amazing,” Bleich said of the future for Florida. “Something special is going to happen under Coach Mullen during his time at Florida.”

Bleich is planning to early enroll at Florida and he says that his recruitment is closed.

“Everything is done,” he said of his recruitment. “Signing the 20th and I’ll be on campus on January 6th.”
