Police investigate fatal shooting on northeast side

Police are investigating two shootings Wednesday, one of which is fatal, on the city’s northeast side, Fox59 reports.
IMPD was called to the 4400 block of Campbell around 10:40 a.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they located a person suffering from a gunshot wound.
The second scene is in the 3500 block of East 39th Street. Police confirm a person was killed, and homicide detectives were called to investigate. The shootings appear to be connected, according to IMPD. We will update this story when more information is made available.
