The return of the Premier League draws ever closer.
City's players have been away on international duty as national team duty has taken centre-stage.
It was an eventful week for Sergio Aguero who became Argentina's third highest scorer of all-time with a goal in his side's 4-2 defeat to Nigeria.
However the celebrations were cut short after the 29-year-old fainted at half-time of the match and was taken to a local hospital for a check-up.
Angus Gunn was part of the England squad that faced Brazil at Wembley on Tuesday night.
While City teammates Gabriel Jesus, Ederson, Danilo and Fernandinho were all part of the Brazil squad for the fixture.
Pep Guardiola will turn his attention to Leicester as the Blues look to extend their 15-match winning run.

City match 'biggest game of career'
City’s visit to face Plymouth Argyle in the FA Youth Cup will be one of the biggest games in the careers of the young Pilgrims according to the Plymouth Herald.
“Playing a team like Manchester City at Home Park will be the biggest game in the lives of some of these players. Hopefully they go on and make it in the first team, but the one tip I would give them is to go out, relax and enjoy the occasion as much as they can.”
Sanchez 'odds on to sign for City'
Alexis Sanchez looks destined for a move to the Etihad, according to bookmakers Ladbrokes. Pep Guardiola has been linked with a move for the Chilean forward for a long time, but Arsene Wenger will reportedly only sanction a deal if he can get Raheem Sterling as part of the negotiations.
Latest odds

Stadium tour updated
Worth noting that tours of City’s Etihad Stadium have been updated to give visitors an even better experience. Group Leisure and Travel organisation said.
“Visitors attending the tour will be welcomed into the recently upgraded First Team changing rooms, where quotes from Tony Walsh’s poetic tribute to Manchester, “This is the Place” have been immortalised across the walls.
Alongside this, the First Team warm-up areas, the away team facilities and the players’ tunnel have also been transformed and can be explored.
The updated Stadium and Club tour gives groups the chance to experience Manchester City’s heritage through memorabilia and interactive displays, enabling them to relive the teams greatest moment and discover exactly what makes Manchester City the club it is today.”
City compared to Guardiola's great Barca side
Danny Mills is the latest in a long line of people who have been impressed by Guardiola’s City side this season.
He’s been comparing them to the Barcelona team that Alex Ferguson described as the ‘greatest’ he had ever come across.
What I’ve been really impressed by with Pep is that it was always going to take time for him to get used to the Premier League but he’s concentrated on people and getting the right people in place,” Mills told Premier League Daily.
“The way he wants to play has been crucial and he never wants to divert from that. When he came in last season he said this is how I’m going to play, whether it goes good or bad this is how we play in this style, and he’s built on that.
“The way that they play I think now is the most similar a team has played since when he was in [managing] that Barcelona side.
“Entertainment wise, they are by far the best team to watch in the Premier League - possibly in Europe.”
Owen's given his verdict on the title race
Michael Owen thinks Liverpool can still win the league.
Anything can happen in football but this looks HIGHLY unlikely.
Speaking to Omnisport Owen said:
“We’re so early in the season, it’s hard to rule anything in our out. At the moment, there’s a big gap between everyone and Manchester City.
“Manchester City seem to be running away with it, playing brilliant football, but remember this happened last season. Manchester City went quite a few points clear and everyone was saying it was going to be their title and it never quite happened.
“There’s a lot of football to be played. Liverpool look as if they’re going to be into the next round of the Champions League, the cup competitions are all there; OK a few points behind where they’d like to be, but the season is still only young.”
World Cup line up
Australia the latest to be added to that list.
Plenty of City players will be heading to Russia next summer.
Aguero expected back at CFA soon
City confirmed yesterday Aguero had been cleared by doctors to fly home.
Latest on Aguero
In case you missed what happened last night here’s a recap:
Manchester City issued a statement about Sergio Aguero’s condition after he was taken ill during Argentina’s clash with Nigeria on Tuesday.
“Sergio Aguero has been cleared by doctors to return to Manchester as planned after suffering a dizzy spell during Argentina’s 4-2 defeat by Nigeria in Krasnodar,” it read.
“Sergio never lost consciousness, and was taken to hospital for precautionary medical checks. He will be assessed by the club’s medical team ahead of this weekend’s Premier League trip to Leicester City.”
The Argentinian federation had earlier stated in a Twitter post that Aguero fainted and was taken for “routine checks just as a precaution”.
Walker's happy with England
He’ll be back at City soon but he was happy with last night’s performance against Brazil.

Arsenal 'still want Raheem Sterling'
If City make a bid for Alexis Sanchez in January Arsenal will ask for Raheem Sterling to be included in any potential deal.
The idea was shut down by Pep Guardiola in the summer but Daily Mail report Arsenal will revive their interest in the England attacker in January.
If it’s true it makes Wenger’s comments even more stupid!
Sergio Aguero health scare
City’s record scorer collapsed at half-time of Argentina’s match with Nigeria.
