Former Inter defender and treble hero Ivan Cordoba spoke about Inter’s season so far and what their performances mean for the Nerazzurri’s goals and their season.
“Inter have come from a few difficult years and we can see how the players and coach have created this team who are able to bring home the results needed,” Cordoba told Premium Sport.
The former Colombian international who was nicknamed Café Colombia during his decade long stint at the club was asked if Inter are ready to challenge Napoli and Juventus for the Serie A title already this season to which Cordoba replied without any hesitation or doubt: “Absolutely yes. Maybe someone is scared of saying it out loud or even thinking about it, but when you play at a club like Inter you have to be aiming to finish in the highest positions, you have to go for the Scudetto without being having any fear.”
