Pedestrian struck and killed walking on I-70 in Hendricks County

A pedestrian was struck and killed Friday night on I-70 near Mooresville, Indiana State Police say.

The victim was reported by witnesses to be walking along the eastbound lanes of I-70 near the 59.8-mile marker at around 10:19 p.m., State Police said.

The Hendricks County coroner and investigators are trying to determine the identity of the pedestrian who was killed.

No further details about the fatal crash are yet available.
