A New England Patriots linebacker who was involved in a serious crash finally saw his wife after they were both injured.Harvey Langi and his wife, Cassidy, were on a date Friday and were on their way home, stopped at a traffic light, when an SUV slammed into them. Six people had to be taken to the hospital. Emergency crews had to use the Jaws of Life to get the couple out of their vehicle. On Tuesday, Cassidy Langi posted a video on her Instagram page showing her husband on crutches visiting her room days after the crash. “I completely blacked out and don’t remember anything, while Harvey remembers seeing me, his wife, laying lifeless and gushing blood,” Cassidy Langi wrote. “We have been in the hospital for a few days and still have a few days to go. We are so completely blessed to have each other to lean on through all of this craziness.” The video shows Harvey Langi walking gingerly without crutches toward his wife and hugging her in her hospital bed. “Look at us,” he said. “I’m so sorry it took me forever to come see you. I love you so much.” Cassidy Langi said the couple is grateful for the love and support they have received over the past few days.
