Vermont's Killington resort activated its snowmaking equipment during the cold snap Tuesday morning. They posted video on Facebook showing the equipment spraying a coating of white on the landscape beneath the resort's ski lifts as the sun rose in the background."The cold temps won't stick around long enough to open but we're ready when they do," Killington wrote.
