This week a woman called into a radio station in Tucson, Arizona to tell a story about Carrie Fisher sticking up for her. The woman, Heather Ross, told the 94.9’s “Morning Mix” show that she once confided in Fisher about an Oscar winning producer, who she said was not Harvey Weinstein, who sexually assaulted her. According to Ross, the producer forced himself on top of her during a meeting that she believed was planned to just discuss a project. “When it happened, it happened so quickly that I was ashamed of myself,” Ross said. “I thought I did something wrong. And I thought, ‘Well, maybe by meeting up with him… I was asking for it.'”Heather Ross said the iconic Star Wars actress was quite upset at this story and decided to take action. Fisher sent the person accused of harassing Ross a special gift – a cow tongue. “It was a cow tongue from Jerry’s Famous Deli with a note that said, ‘If you ever touch my darling Heather or any other woman again, the next delivery will be something of yours in a much smaller box.,'” Ross said on the show.Ross explained that Carrie Fisher always had her back. “That’s just how she was,” she said. “I miss her dearly. She stood up for people.”
