Deputies investigating possible murder-suicide in Knox County

MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible murder-suicide at a home on U.S. 36 west of Centerburg, Ohio, according to a press release.

Brenda Crum, 63, and Charles Crum, 65, were found dead from gunshot wounds at their home in the 3400 block of Columbus Road, according to an updated news release sent by the Knox County Sheriff's Office.

Officers had initially gone to the home to check on a resident who did not show up to an event Saturday, according to the release.

Deputies are still investigating.
