Under this bill, people with metastatic cancer will pay $142,650 more a year to get coverage.
That is not reform. That is a death sentence. https://t.co/XN3mVv0F2t

I've had metastatic cancer. Last night I was sobbing just watching my kids do their homework, grateful to be here for it. This is heartless. https://t.co/wIYGMVZPPs

Somewhere between 26,000 and 30,000 Americans will die each year if Graham-Cassidy becomes law. The previous versions of ACA repeal only took health insurance away from 22 million, and the death toll was estimated at 26,000 people per year. Graham-Cassidy takes health care away from 32 million people and makes insurance more expensive for those who will still have it, so the death toll could easily reach 30,000 people per year.
Graham-Cassidy will kill people, and the truly twisted part of the story is that Senate Republicans don’t care.
