Can anybody tell me the regrind sizes of the shell bearings fitted to my engine. Both sets of shells have a letter "G" in a square box stamped into them, which I understand to be the makers ,a company called "Glacier"

Normally I would expect to see the size of bearing in the form of .0X0, where x is a measure in tens of thou of an inch.
However the sets fitted do not follow this scheme

The main bearing shells have 276857 on them which I guess is a part number
The conrod [yep I am English],big end /wrist pin shells are numbered 248747

I would like to know just what size these are

many thanks

Geoff.
