Hello everyone.
I was at Limerock Park yesterday for the labor day historic event and bought a set of seats for a +4 supersport.
They were ordered from the Malvern factory but never installed, they came with four wooden blocks.
I need information on how to install and adjust these.
I will use them in my 1965 plus 4 I am restoring.
Any links or help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

George Sideriadis

George: I have done exactly this. Typically the wood blocks are positioned where you want the seats to be - take out the seat bottom cushion and bolt the seats through the blocks and through the floor. Simple but quite crude. Use grade 8 bolts, locking nuts and big washers all around. I did it on a 1984 car that had adjustable seats. So I took those runners and mounted them to the blocks and to the seats and ended up with seats that had a little back and forth adjustment. I am sure you could find seat runners (not necessarily from a Morgan) and do the same. Doug

The blocks need to be properly spaced so that the top (beveled) surfaces form a plane to mount the seat base on. You may need to trim the outer corners of the rear blocks to clear the portion of seat back that extends below the base.
regards,
Phil
