Two more football standouts from Corona have enrolled at Villa Park, Spartans coach Dusan Ancich confirmed Friday.
Linebacker/running back Zechariah Holifield (6-0, 220) and athlete Marcus Johnson are now at Villa Park, which earlier added touted 6-foot-6 sophomore quarterback Shane Illingworth (6-6, 225).
Johnson is committed to USC, Ancich confirmed Saturday.
Illingworth and Holifield were contributors last season at powerhouse Centennial of Corona.
Holifield, who has been offered by Colorado State, and Johnson are both seniors and moving into the Villa Park area, Ancich said. They could be eligible soon, Ancich said. The coach called both “exceptional” athletes.
Illingworth will observe the Southern Section’s sitout period.
