Amber Alert issued for Bracie Schivers

An arrest warrant was issued Saturday for the father accused of kidnapping his 1 1/2-year-old daughter in Cleveland County, prompting an Amber Alert to be issued.Authorities issued the alert for Bracie Schivers after they said her parents -- Tara Springfield and Bryant Dwight Schivers Jr. -- lost their parental rights due to evidence of child endangerment. The parents were supposed to drop off Bracie on Friday, but officials said they don’t believe Schivers and Springfield intended on doing so. Around 10 p.m. Friday, authorities became concerned Springfield and Schivers had taken off with Bracie.Bracie is believed to be in danger because her parents have a history of substance abuse. Springfield and Schivers are believed to be in a white 2011 Chevrolet CU-15 pickup truck with Oklahoma license plate BQQ-657.Three other children, ages 8, 9 and 12, are believed to be with Springfield and Schivers, but they are not included on the Amber Alert.A judge determined there was enough information to issue an arrest warrant for Schivers, officials said. Charges are not pending for Springfield.
