TUSTIN Residents have recently reported seeing a mountain lion in the area of Redhill Avenue,  and Mitchell Avenue, according to Tustin officials.

The cougar is believed to be a juvenile and was reportedly caught on security cameras more than a week ago roaming in front of the Stater Brothers grocery store on Redhill Avenue.

The state Department of Fish & Game believes there is no public safety issue, Tustin officials said on the city’s Facebook page.  Anyone who spots a mountain lion is asked to contact Tustin police at 714-573-3325 or 9-1-1 if there is an immediate threat.
