Could Former Wide Receiver Darren Carrington Land In The Pac-12?
Former Oregon Football Wide Receiver Darren Carrington is garnering interest from other teams in the Pac-12.
Following his release from the program last week, Carrington has said he was sorry for his actions. After being cut from the Oregon Football Program, it would be understandable that help should come first in the way of counseling after his DUII Arrest at the beginning of the month. Darren Carrington graduated from Oregon and is able to transfer anywhere and play another season, meaning he will be on the field in 2017 – maybe.

For a young man needed to get his life together away from football first, he had decided to focus on football. Earlier this week it was reported that Carrington spent the day with the Utah Utes.
According to ESPN, Utah is looking to create more Offense for their Wide Receivers after hiring Offensive Coordinator Troy Taylor from Eastern Washington in the offseason. Carrington is the type of player that could flourish in the system that Taylor is trying to implement.
Another school that may have an interest is Arizona. Rich Rodriguez could use the upgrade since the tallest Wideout on the team is 5 foot 10.
If Carrington decides to sit out this season he can still focus on the upcoming NFL Draft. After all, he was considering leaving Oregon for the next level after the 2017 season that saw solid numbers that included a three touchdown performance in the Spring Game.

Darren Carrington has had trouble follow him in his College Career after the most recent DUII Arrest and being suspended prior to the National Championship in 2015. Oregon faces both Utah and Arizona at Autzen Stadium this season.
