Just got a two stroke 1990 Trabant 601.
Ran great until I turned the lights on, then everything went dead inc engine, no electrics at all. Checked fuses none gone.

Any ideas ? Is there a master fuse and where is it?

More than likely it is your battery leads. They were originally made of rubbish metal. Replace them with new copper core ones.
