Indiana adds another tough non-conference opponent to their schedule in 2017-18. The Hoosiers will host Duke at Assembly Hall, part of the Big Ten – ACC Challenge.

In the first year under new head coach Archie Miller, Indiana will have their work cut out for them. It was announced earlier this week that Indiana will host Duke at Assembly Hall for the annual Big Ten – ACC Challenge.

The last time these two teams squared off at Cameron Indoor Stadium, the Hoosiers were suffocated by the Blue Devils 94-74 back in 2015. This has become infamous as one of those games all Indiana fans would rather never talk about.

This matchup for both teams will be one that will have college basketball fans salivating early in the season. Indiana with a brand new coach and looking for a new identity with a much younger roster. Duke, on the other hand, is looking at a completely different roster than 2016-17 with the exception of senior guard Grayson Allen.

Here is a look at the rest of the matchups for the Big Ten – ACC Challenge:

For Indiana, adding this matchup to an already pretty loaded non-conference schedule will test coach Miller early on. Even with the Hoosiers in a bit of a transition period, having a tough non-conference schedule is what fans have begged for at the end of the Crean era. The Hoosiers have games lined up against Louisville, Notre Dame, Seton Hall and now Duke. The full schedule has yet to be released but the non-conference lineup is already stacked.
