Nextbit Robin Is Being Updated To Nougat 7.1.1

Nextbit has started rolling out the Nougat 7.1.1 update for Robin. Nextbit, which is now owned by Razer Inc, had earlier updated Robin to Android 7.0 in March. Although the Robin isn't being sold officially anymore, Nextbit has assured support for the Robin until February 2018 through the medium of software updates.

The update weighs 560MB and includes the April 1 security patch. The build number of the update is Robin_Nextbit_108. Nextbit has also made the factory image of the update available. So you can manually flash the update by grabbing the Android 7.1.1 firmware ZIP from the source linked below.

The kernel source is currently available for Nougat 7.0. We hope Nextbit will comply with the terms of General Public License (GPL) and will soon release the kernel source code for this update. We will update you on any development news regarding the update.
