This mod is great right up to the point that every second you've spent on it is wasted. I've dumped over 15 hours into two separate games which have both been corrupted. The constant crashing was hard to put up with, but i endured over 120+ days of gameplay over these two separate games before one after another they were corrupted.
(A corrupted save file in this game equates to perpetual crashing after walking any short distance on the map. It's both unavoidable and irretrievable when this happens and the devs make little mention of it aside from a bright red paragraph in the manual that essentially just says you can't save when it's convenient and when this happens you're screwed.)

Even when it wasn't crashing, there's still quite a lot to gripe about. First and foremost, the siege of Cair Andros. During my brief and frustrating Mordor "playthrough" i found myself taking part in this siege, during which time half of my army decided to run facefirst into the "destructable" gate which never went down. Meanwhile, the rest of my army was stuck, unable to ascend any higher than exactly halfway on the siege ladders. The entire army was cut to pieces by archers after like 15 minutes of nothing happening.

To the dev(s): please make it more apparent that saving on the map will corrupt your save file. also, not saving on the map isn't a guarantee that your save file won't be corrupted. Better yet, it would be best if you can make a mod that isn't completely broken.

To everyone else: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. it's an inevitability that your save files will be corrupted, bringing an abrupt end to an otherwise mildly enjoyable experience. If 0/10 were an option, i'd probably still give it a 1 just because LOTR is so cool.

P.S. I turned down battle size, turned off ragdoll, ect. and it still crashes both in battles and on the map, even prior to inevitable save game corruption.
