Former Oregon Quarterback Marcus Mariota was on the field for OTA’s this week for the Tennessee Titans.

Less than six months removed from surgery to repair a broken tibia, Mariota was happy to be back with his teammates. More importantly getting back into the rhythm of football. The Titans are being cautious with their former first round draft pick and easing him back into action.

According to the Tennessean, Mariota looked good in 7-on-7 Drills, which are a non-contact drill for the Quarterback. The former Oregon Signal Caller needed to get in work with some likely new targets this season including the first round pick from the 2017 NFL Draft, Corey Davis. Mariota also worked on pass catching with two other Draft picks Taywan Taylor and Jonnu Smith.

Marcus Mariota spent part of the Spring in Eugene, rehabbing at the Marcus Mariota Performance Center on the University of Oregon campus. He also spent time watching the Oregon Ducks Spring Practices on multiple days leading up to the Ducks Spring Game on May 29th. Matt Mariota, his younger brother is a Tight End for Oregon this season.

"It felt great, four months ago I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to participate in OTAs, and being able to do some of the drills, go through practice, it’s a lot in my progress, in my recovery, and I was very happy and very grateful to be out there.Marcus Mariota on getting back to work with Tennessee(via The Tennessean)"
